Kevin Hitchcock (born October 5, 1962 in Canning Town, Greater London) is an English former goalkeeper and spent most of his career at Chelsea. He is currently employed as the goalkeeper coach at Manchester City.
Hitchcock made his Chelsea debut on March 26, 1988 in a 1–0 defeat to Southampton. He was at Chelsea from 1988–2001 and made 96 league appearances, 4 of which were from the bench. Bad luck with injuries left him stuck behind numerous other goalkeepers in the pecking order which was one of the main reasons for him making so few appearances in all that time at the club. He left Chelsea in 2001 to take up the post of goalkeeper coach at Watford who had just appointed his former Chelsea boss Gianluca Vialli as their new manager. He left Watford in 2004 to team up with ex-Chelsea team mate Mark Hughes at Blackburn, following him to Manchester City on July 1, 2008.
