Greist was born in Stamford, Connecticut, the daughter of Norma M. (née Abtey) and E. Harold Greist. Kimberley Bret Greist (born May 12, 1958) is an American actress.
Greist was born in Stamford, Connecticut, the daughter of Norma M. (née Abtey) and E. Harold Greist. She was trained for the stage and spent some of her late teenage years as a professional model in Europe. Her first film appearance was in the cult favorite horror film, C.H.U.D. (1984), soon followed by a guest appearance in the 1985 Miami Vice episode Nobody Lives Forever. Greist also appeared in a number of roles in a few 1980s films, including Brazil (1985), Michael Mann's Manhunter (1986), Throw Momma from the Train (1987) and Punchline (1988).
During the 1990s, Greist appeared in a series of made-for-television films, as well as the Disney-produced Homeward Bound: the Incredible Journey (1993) and Houseguest (1995). She has not acted since 2001.
