Originally married to actor/director Neal Sundstrum, she divorced him and became the third wife of Knopfler on 14 February 1997. The couple have two daughters: Isabella (born 1998) and Katya Ruby Rose (born 25 November 2003). On becoming pregnant with her first child, she retired as an actress in 1998 to become a full time mother.
