Kökjanggak (also Kok-Jangak or Kok-Dzhangak, Kyrgyz: Көкжаңгак, pronounced [kœkd͡ʒɑɴɢɑ́q]) is a town of about 10,000 in the mountains of the Jalal-Abad Oblast of western Kyrgyzstan, near the regional centre city Jalal-Abad.
Coal mining, which began in the area in 1916, has been a staple of the local economy, although production fell steeply after 1990.
