Krypteria is a power metal band from Germany. Founded in 2001, the band is now fronted by German-Korean singer Ji-In Cho. In the beginning, the idea was to use different vocalists, though Ji-In assumed the role of lead vocalist in 2004. After the formation of Krypteria the band, three studio albums and one EP have been released, the latest one being My Fatal Kiss of 2009.
They started in 2001 where Chris Siemons, Frank Stumvoll and S.C. Kuschnerus wanted to do a fantasy-musical CD. There was no vocalist at this time, because they wanted to record the CD with many different vocalists. In 2003, their debut Krypteria was released. Approximately one year later a large flood occurred in India, and the German TV station RTL asked them to record "Liberatio" as a benefit single. Shortly thereafter...
