The house is being fumigated, and Dorothy, Rose and Sophia are irritated-but their bad moods disappear when Blanche returns home with exciting news. She has won tickets to both the premiere AND exclusive after-party of Burt Reynolds's new movie! The girls are thrilled, but Blanche adds a catch-there are only three tickets in the prize package. Sophia is elected to be the one not to go, and she is furious. To cheer her and the other girls up, Blanche suggests that the girls make a weekend vacation to Miami Beach to prepare for the party. Blanche finds a great hotel with a low price, and the girls' pre-party excitement mounts, along with Sophia's tricks to earn a ticket.
