Lake Athabasca (pronounced /ˌæθəˈbæskə/, French: lac Athabasca, from Woods Cree aðapaskāw, "[where] there are plants one after another") is located in the northwest corner of Saskatchewan and the northeast corner of Alberta between 58° and 60° N.
