Landry's Restaurants, Inc. NYSE: LNY is an American corporation which is in the business of developing restaurants and hospitality projects, from Houston, Texas. The company owns 28 casual dining and specialty restaurant concepts as well as casino and entertainment venues, convention facilities and hotels in the United States. At year end, 2005, the company had operations in 35 states and the District of Columbia. In the 2000s, the company has also branched out into larger entertainment ventures, such as the Kemah Boardwalk in Kemah, Texas, the Downtown Aquarium in Houston, the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Denver's Downtown Aquarium (formerly Colorado's Ocean Journey) and the Golden Nugget casino and hotel properties in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada.
