over a dozen years, Lee launched his second career and headed out west.
As principal of Lee Friedman Studio, he has produced award-winning
work, specializing in book and publication design. He has also served
as Creative Director at both Gastronomica and Dwell magazines. His
desire to give back to the community has led him to teach design and
photography at the Rhode Island School of Design, San Francisco Art
Institute, and at the California College of the Arts (CCA) where he has
been an adjunct professor for the last six years. He has no free time.
