Legnago is a town in the Province of Verona, Veneto, northern Italy. It is located on the Adige river, c. 43 km from Verona. Its territory is fertile, rice, cereals and sugar being grown. Traces of human presence in the area date back to the Bronze Age. Legnago had an important military role since the early Middle Ages.
