Ian Fraser Kilmister (born on 24 December 1945 in Burslem, Stoke on Trent, England), better known by the stage name Lemmy, is an English singer and bass guitarist. He is best known as the founding member of the rock band Motörhead. His appearance, facial moles, mutton chops (sideburn-moustache combination), and gravelly voice have made him an instantly recognisable cult figure.
