The Libertarian Party of San Francisco (LPSF) is the San Francisco county affiliate of the Libertarian Party of California (LPC). Membership in LPC by a San Francisco resident automatically confers LPSF membership (and vice versa), excepting that any LPC member can choose a specific local affiliate other than that where he or she resides.
LPSF has an executive committee of four officers, and meets as a body monthly. LPSF coördinates libertarian political activity and outreach in the City and County of San Francisco, including supporting local libertarian ballot measures, opposing non-libertarian ones; recruiting and supporting Libertarian candidates for partisan office and libertarian candidates for non-partisan office; and recruiting volunteers for public events such as street fairs and the San Francisco Pride festival (where the libertarian presence is organized by Outright Libertarians).
