Liezel Huber (born August 21, 1976 in Durban) is a tennis player from South Africa who competes for, resides in, and is a naturalized citizen of the United States. In July 2007, it was revealed that Huber had been sworn in as a U.S. citizen in an expedited process so that she could she could compete for the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics in doubles, partnering with former world number 1 (both in singles and doubles) Lindsay Davenport; the pair lost in the quarter-finals.
