She is named after Harry's mother and her parents' "dear friend", Luna Lovegood,[26] and has red hair inherited from her mother and both of her grandmothers. She is two years younger than her brother, Albus. In the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, she was accompanying her parents who were escorting James and Albus to the Hogwarts Express. As Lily watched her brothers depart on the Hogwarts Express, she desperately wanted to join them, echoing Ginny's reaction when her brothers left in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
