Lionel Nathan de Rothschild (25 January 1882 – 28 January 1942) was an English banker and Conservative politician best remembered as the creator of Exbury Gardens. Lionel Nathan de Rothschild was born in London and educated at Harrow School and Trinity College, Cambridge. On 25 January 1910 he was elected to the House of Commons for the constituency of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. In 1912 he married Marie Louise Eugénie Beer (1892–1975).
