Lionel Wigram

Lionel Wigram (born 1961) is a British film producer and screenplay writer. He was named a senior vice president of production at Warner Bros. in November 2000. Wigram wrote the comic that was the inspiration for the 2009 version of Sherlock Holmes, as well as writing the screenplay, and being a producer who helped select Robert Downey, Jr. to play a "more modern, more bohemian" Holmes.
