The object of the game is to fit a fixed number of beaded puzzle pieces of various shapes, called pentominoes, into the remaining empty spaces on a rectangular game board. The game features a number of puzzles of increasing difficulty, and co-operative and competitive multiplayer.
The game features two control schemes; one that uses the directional pad to move an onscreen cursor, while the other uses the Wii Remote's pointer function, with the player twisting the Remote to rotate the pentominoes.
