Lorianne Masuoka

Lorianne Masuoka leads FivePrime's efforts in clinical development. Prior to joining FivePrime in 2002, Dr. Masuoka was Director of Clinical Development, Oncology at Chiron Corporation, where she worked on small molecule and biologic therapies for the treatment of cancer. Lorianne Masuoka leads FivePrime's efforts in clinical development. Prior to joining FivePrime in 2002, Dr. Masuoka was Director of Clinical Development, Oncology at Chiron Corporation, where she worked on small molecule and biologic therapies for the treatment of cancer. She began her career in the biotechnology industry in 1994 at Berlex Laboratories, where she developed drugs for the treatment of multiple sclerosis and other disorders of the CNS. Dr. Masuoka received her M.D. and neurology training at UC Davis and was a fellow at Yale University.
