Louis John DiBella, Jr. (b. 17 May 1960 in Brooklyn, New York) is a boxing promoter and television/film producer. Among his past and present boxers are Jermain Taylor and Bernard Hopkins, both former middleweight world champions, the former of whom was dethroned by the new and current middleweight world champion Kelly Pavlik, also part of DiBella Entertainment is Paul Malignaggi, the IBF junior welterweight champion and Andre Berto who holds the WBC Welterweight belt.
DiBella is a graduate of Tufts University and Harvard Law School. He was head of programming for HBO Sports for more than 10 years before starting his own promotional firm, DiBella Entertainment. He also owns the San Francisco Giants affiliate, the Connecticut Defenders. The team based in Norwich, Connecticut, plays in the Eastern League (U.S. baseball). The Defenders play in Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, located in Norwich.
