Lov Grover

Lov Kumar Grover (born 1961) is an Indian-American computer scientist. He is the originator of the Grover database search algorithm used in quantum computing. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He served a short while as an assistant professor at Cornell University but left to join Bell Labs in New Jersey, where is now a distinguished member of the technical staff in physical sciences research.
