Luchsingen is a former municipality in the canton of Glarus in Switzerland. Since 2004 the former municipalities of Hätzingen and Diesbach have been part of Luchsingen. Effective from 1 January 2011, Luchsingen is part of the municipality of Glarus Süd.

Luchsingen has an area, as of 2006, of 30.7 km (11.9 sq mi). Of this area, 26.9% is used for agricultural purposes, while 31.8% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 2% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (39.4%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
Luchsingen is located in the Glarner Hinterland on the left side of the Grosstal. It consists of the village of Luchsingen, the hamlet of Adlenbach and the vacation home development of Schlatt. Since 2004 the former municipalities of Hätzingen and Diesbach have been part of Luchsingen.
