She married fellow voice actor Hal Rayle on June 5, 1987 in Aspen, Pitkin County, Colorado. Their daughter, Spenser Freeland Rayle, was born on June 20, 1993.The couple own a voice recording studio in Denver, CO. Her brother is movie music supervisor G. Marq Roswell.
Roswell received a 1997 Annie nomination, Best Individual Achievement: Voice Acting by a Female Performer in a TV Production, for the role of the ill-fated Shary Bobbins.
