Super Space Invaders '91 is the fourth game for the Space Invader series published by Taito.

Invasion is successful when an invader reaches below the row where player's ship is located. Player loses 1 life afterwards, then the surviving invaders returns to the top of the field.
Item can obtained by destroying UFO appearing across the top of the field, which will drop an Arkanoid capsule that changes player's ship's attributes when picked up. When obtaining a weapon, the timer is automatically activated, which decreases gradually whether or not the item is used. Using an item drains the timer. The item is gone when timer is emptied.
