Marￃﾭa Picasso y Lￃﾳpez was the mother of Pablo Picasso. She married childhood sweetheart Josￃﾩ Ruiz y Blasco in 1880. Pablo Picasso, her first born son, was born ten months later in 1881. Her second child was Dolores, born in 1884; her third was named Concepcion, born in 1887.
