Marina's athletic teams are known as the Vikings and the school colors are navy blue, Columbia blue, and gold. They compete in the Sunset League of the California Interscholastic Federation's Southern Section. Marina has no on-campus stadium and plays most of its football home games at nearby Westminster High School. Marina's football team is notorious for its previous seasons in recent history that have ended without a single win for the team, although the program has shown marked improvement with the hiring of a new head coach.
