Mr.
Fotiadis joined Enterprise Partners from Advent International where he
worked with the Life Sciences Venture team. Prior to Advent
International, Marios was CEO of Achillion Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:
ACHN), a biotechnology company focused on the development of novel
treatments for infectious diseases.
Before joining Achillion,
Marios managed the life sciences venture portfolio of SG Capital
Partners, a $550 million private equity fund with more than $80 million
invested in biotechnology companies. He joined SG Capital Partners
after providing investment banking and M&A advisory services with
SG Cowen Securities. Marios has held positions on the boards of
directors of several companies, including Achillion Pharmaceuticals,
Anadys Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ANDS), Trident Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
and Spear Therapeutics, Ltd.
Mr. Fotiadis holds an M.B.A. from
Columbia University and a B.S.B.A. degree, cum laude in Business
Administration, from the Daniels College of Business at the University
of Denver.
