Mark Micheli is AirPlay’s Vice President of Engineering, responsible
for the design, development and deployment of all software products
related to AirPlay’s service. Mark has been in senior management
positions within the game and music technology industries for the last
15 years, including 7 years pioneering the field of interactive
television.
Prior to AirPlay, Mark worked at AOL
Entertainment and led the engineering team responsible for the
development of MusicNet@AOL, Radio@AOL, Video@AOL, and iTunes@AOL. From
1998-2000, he served as Technical Director for the AOL Games Channel.
Mark was also a Technical Director for the EA Sports Channel, and part
of the team that built EA.com. Before AOL and Electronic Arts, he was
Director of Applications for WorldPlay Entertainment. Additionally,
Mark was the 8th employee hired at Interactive Network in 1988 and was
responsible for the development of over forty games, personally
designing and developing six of them.
Mark holds an AB degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley.
