Mark White

Mark Wells White (born March 17, 1940) is an American lawyer, who served as the 43rd Governor of Texas from January 18, 1983 to January 20, 1987. Born in Henderson, in Rusk County, Texas, White attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and was a member of the prestigious Tryon Coterie Club, now Phi Delta Theta (Texas Lambda Chapter) at Baylor.
