Matthew Antonio Antonelli (born April 8, 1985 in Peabody, Massachusetts) is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball. He bats and throws right-handed.

In college, Antonelli displayed good plate discipline, walking 57 times as a sophomore, ranking seventh among collegiate hitters. He only struck out 38 times in 232 at bats, giving him one of the best strikeout-to-walk ratios in the nation.
Antonelli was originally drafted as a third baseman out of Wake Forest University by the San Diego Padres with the 17th pick of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft. He had previously been drafted in the 19th round of the 2003 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers but did not sign.
