Matt Roney

Matthew Stephen Roney (born January 10, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher who is currently a free agent. He was drafted in the first round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies. In 2002 he was selected in the Rule 5 Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates and then purchased from the Pirates by the Detroit Tigers.
