Matt Slocum (born December 27, 1972) is a guitarist, cellist, pianist and composer. He is best known for his work as the principal songwriter and lead guitarist of Sixpence None the Richer. Slocum played guitar in with Chris taylor on a garage-band tape only release called "A Place to Hide Away (Part 1)" in early 1991, as well as being a principle member of Love Coma, a Christian rock band.
