He has been an innovative force within the industry, pioneering new technologies for motion picture sound. He has also worked as an actor, portraying Bib Fortuna, Ody Mandrell in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and General Grievous in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
He has received two Academy Award nominations for Sound Editing: for Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood at the 80th Academy Awards and for Pixar sci-fi film WALL-E at the 81st Academy Awards.
