Mauna Kea (pronounced /ˌmɔːnə ˈkeɪ.ə/ or /ˌmaʊnə ˈkeɪ.ə/ in English, [ˈmounə ˈkɛjə] in Hawaiian) is an inactive volcano in the U.S. state of Hawaii, one of five volcanoes which together form the island of Hawaii.
