After not having been selected in the 2001 NBA Draft, he signed as a free agent for the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he played in only 10 games. In 2002, he moved to Greece to play for Olympiacos, and in the following, 2003-04 season he played for the Italian power Benetton Basket Treviso (winning the Italian Cup).
