Maurice White (born December 19, 1941) is a Grammy Award winning African-American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, arranger. He is the older brother of Verdine White and the leader and founder of the band Earth, Wind & Fire Maurice has won seven Grammys and he has been Grammy nominated 21 times.
