  • The shower scene...What! Bobby's not dead? The whole last season was wiped away and went running down Bobby's legs into the drain of American TV History.

  • Great re-imagining of a very mediocre original show.

  • Not only has this been remade/rebooted between comic book origins, TNT TV series, Japanese Anime...Now a movie possibly in 2010? Like Dallas, this show at the end of the first season rebooted the show to start completely over from the beginning. Thus the second season was a weird repeat that is not a repeat of the entire storyline with different characters getting killed off and/or altered in many ways. Enjoyably weird, too bad the lead actress became too much of a problem (alcoholism) to continue on with a third season.

  • After Batman Forever, the had to reboot it with the Batman Begins...Though Batman the first movie is in itself a reboot in comparison to the TV series and film of the 1960's.

  • So the events of the 3 and 4th films are toast! Now we start again from events after Superman II. I actually enjoyed this film very much, kudos for dead Marlon Brando-fu!

  • Young virile characters getting it on all sexy action hero style. Hot Kirk on Uhuru action? Spock on Kirk slash fiction renewal? Enterprise launched from the ground? Wackiness ensues.
  • Well, the whole premise of the show was a bit of a whack to the head, that the events of the 1953 War Of The Worlds film were real and had been 'forgotten' by most of the surviving public. What? Then for the second season, all of a sudden several characters are gone, and the USA has turned into Mad Max Land with post-apocalyptic silliness. I liked the aliens though.
  • I guess this could be the proto-typical show that gets a reboot every few years or so. Lead character gets to be played in a different manner bu different actors. The current 2005-present show is quite diffrent than any of the series that came before it. (This show suggested by D.P.)

  • Series that got a whack to the side of the head, sometimes years later, sometimes during the initial run. Reimagined imaginary things mostly entertainingly done in entertainment industry.
