The expansion was released on August 28, 2007 in the United States and has four new campaigns, focusing on the discovery of the Americas, 13th century Britain, and Crusader campaigns in both the Levant and Northern Europe. Medieval 2: Total War Kingdoms has 4 new campaigns, each one focusing on a different area.
