Methacton teams currently compete in the Pioneer Athletic Conference. Up until the 2008-2009 school year, teams had competed in the Suburban One Athletic League.
The Methacton Field Hockey team was the first sport to claim the PAC-10, or Pioneer Athletic Conference, championship title, in fall 2008. In the prior year, the field hockey team made their first journey, in a number of years, to the State Championship, and lost in the first round to Emmaus.
