Michael Dietz (born February 10, 1971) is an American actor and producer who is best known for the role of Dr. Mark MacClaine on CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful and Joe Scanlon on Port Charles.
Prior to joining the cast of B&B; in 2002, Dietz had guest stints on prime time shows Wasteland, Charmed, Beverly Hills 90210, The Drew Carey Show and Baywatch, and starring roles as Alan-Michael on Guiding Light as well as House and CSI.

On April 6, 2002, Dietz married actress Paige Rowland. The two are now the parents of Madison Michaela Dietz.
In 2005, Michael and Richard Friedman formed Lucky Butterfly Productions—a film and television company.
As a producer, Michael has recently worked as a challenge producer for NBC'S "Great American Road Trip" as well as a challenge consultant for ABC'S Wipeout and a challenge producer for season ten of Big Brother. He also produced the feature film Born that was at Cannes and was just released by Lionsgate.
