Michael is part of the Royal Four of Antar, which includes Max Evans, Isabel Evans and Tess Harding. He is an alien-human hybrid and the clone of the former alien Rath. Rath was the second in command to Zan (Max), the king of Antar, as well as his best friend to whom he was very loyal. .
A section of people believed that maybe if he was ruler, then Antar would have been a better world. However, this isn't really confirmed by other canon sources, and this theory came only from the voice of the character Courtney, who was a self-proclaimed "Michael-worshipper".
