Michael Horowitz is an American author and archivist in San Francisco. Horowitz's parents were Jewish immigrants from the Russian Empire and some of his relatives died during the Holocaust. He is the husband of author Cynthia Palmer, and the father of Winona Ryder and Uri Horowitz.
