Michael H. Kay (born 11 October 1951) is the editor of the W3C specification of the XSLT 2.0 language for performing XML transformations, and the developer of the Saxon XSLT and XQuery processing software. He is a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge and gained his Ph.D at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory under Maurice Wilkes.
