Michel Ancel (born March 29, 1972) is a French video game designer for Ubisoft most known for creating Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil. Ancel's first demo, Mechanic Warriors, was developed for software house Lankhor. Ancel then joined Ubisoft as a graphic artist after meeting the game author Nicolas Choukroun in Montpellier at the age of 17.
