Mike Mykill Aresco is a Thrash Metal drummer. Originally from Canada, he has been in several notable bands, Lost Soul, which was known for extremely violent crowds at their shows (which may or may not have held part for the band ending), Gridlock, 86 Aspartame, and Maseration. Currently he is the drummer of Sa Sanctuary, a thrash band from Texas, and Dead Skin Mask. In Sa Sanctuary, he has toured Europe and has played several metal fests, including, Wacken Open Air and Roskilde Festival in Denmark. With Dead Skin Mask, he has played Japan on a 3 month tour. He is endorsed by Pellwood drum sticks and has a signature line of Hornbeam 2b Nylon sticks with Pellwood. Mike plays Paiste Cymbals exclusively, along with Tama drums. Mike has been featured in Terrorizer Magazine and in Law of Inertia (Dead Skin Mask voted #1 tribute band of top 10 worldwide). As well as music, he can be seen briefly in the 1989 Robert De Niro movie, Jacknife, during the high school prom scene. He was not paid or credited for appearing due to the position was as an extra.
