Mike Tenay (born February 28, 1956, in Los Angeles, California) is a professional wrestling play-by-play announcer. Mike Tenay made his WCW announcing debut during the WCW-promoted AAA When Worlds Collide pay-per-view in November 1994. Everyone in WCW (including lead announcer Tony Schiavone) declined to do the PPV. During his first broadcast, he and Chris Cruise called the match between Los Gringos Locos (Eddy Guerrero and Art Barr) vs. Hijo del Santo and Octagon as judged by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
