"Mr. Monk Goes To Mexico" is the 14th episode of the TV-series Monk. It is the second episode of the second season. Monk gives new meaning to the phrase "don't drink the water" when he travels to Mexico to investigate the mysterious demise of a skydiver who reportedly drowned to death... in mid-air. While on spring break vacation in Mexico, Chip Rosatti, the son of a prominent San Francisco businessman (a businessman who also happens to be a close friend of the mayor), wins a free skydiving jump. His legs and arms were waving as he jumped out of the plane. Watching from the ground, two of his friends gaze up excited to see their new friend as Chip leaps from the plane, but then they look on in horror as he fails to open his chute and plummets to his death. When Chip's body is examined at the morgue, the local coroner, Dr. Madero discovers some perplexing news: Chip Rosatti didn't die from hitting the ground - rather, he drowned in mid-air.
