She becomes friends with the town's druggist (pharmacist), Murphy Jones (Garner), starts to become attracted to Murphy, and yet allows her ex-husband, Bobby Jack Moriarty (Brian Kerwin), to move in with her again because of their 12-year-old son together, Jake Moriarty (Haim).
