J.D. refuses to play along though, earning him the respect of Dr. Cox.In the meantime, Turk misses his opportunity to ask for a new argon laser on the one day of the year that Dr. Kelso grants favors, so he is forced to find another way to come up with the goods.Dr. Cox looks after a patient who often donates to the hospital. She has a very unique medical condition and wants to recommend him to some high-ranking acquaintance of hers; for once, Dr. Cox lets someone help his career.Also, Elliot tries to be closer friends with Carla and find some things they have in common, though Carla is not quite as willing as Elliot.
