J.D. has recently been doing exceptionally well during rounds, and considers himself the best intern of them all. However, there is one other intern who is equally as good at being a doctor as him - Nick Murdoch (Sean Hayes), who seems to be nicer; more in control and even has a sexier butt than J.D. Not even J.D. can hate Nick, because he is such a nice person. Nick has a patient, Peter who keeps getting worse. Nurse Roberts keeps him updated on Peter's status. Eventually Nick surpasses J.D. as the leader of the interns, after Nick takes the blame when Dr. Kelso is mad at the interns.
