Nanda Devi East is a Himalaya mountain peak in the central part of Uttaranchal state in India, at the border of the Chamoli and Pithoragarh district. It is connected by a high ridge, 2 km long, to the main (west) peak of Nanda Devi, 7,816 m. Together the peaks are referred to as the twin peaks of the goddess Nanda.

Nanda Devi East is a Himalaya mountain peak in the central part of Uttaranchal state in India, at the border of the Chamoli and Pithoragarh district. It is connected by a high ridge, 2 km long, to the main (west) peak of Nanda Devi, 7,816 m. Together the peaks are referred to as the twin peaks of the goddess Nanda.
Both peaks are part of a subrange of the Himalayas, aligned roughly north-south, dividing the Rishiganga valley on the west from the Goriganga valley to the east. Located within this subrange are the Nanda Devi and Valley of flowers National Parks; Nanda Devi East lies on the eastern side of these parks. To the southeast of Nanda Devi East lies Longstaff Col (5,910 m); Lawan Glacier lies to the east of the peak. Lawan Gad and Pachhu Glacier lie north of the peak, while Pindari Glacier lies to the south.
