Nanda Devi East is a Himalaya mountain peak in the central part of Uttaranchal state in India, at the border of the Chamoli and Pithoragarh district. It is connected by a high ridge, 2 km long, to the main (west) peak of Nanda Devi, 7,816 m. Together the peaks are referred to as the twin peaks of the goddess Nanda.
